From selling pastries as a child in Penang to building his career in Singapore, Mr Yeah’s journey was shaped by grit and entrepreneurial spirit. His experience in jewellery and gold laid the foundation for ValueMax’s growth.

Entered the jewellery trade and began building deep industry knowledge.
Founded Golden Goldsmith Jewellers, expanding into gold manufacturing and wholesale.
Opened the first pawnshop, marking the beginning of the business that would eventually become ValueMax.
Launched the ValueMax brand to create a more modern pawnbroking experience while continuing to provide professional valuation, competitive value and reliable service.
ValueMax became the first pawnbroker listed on the SGX Mainboard.
The Group continues to serve, innovate and grow with the community.
