ValueMax offers pawn loans, a quick & easy way to borrow money without the need for credit checks.
All that is required is your identification card (for Singaporeans), or passport or foreign document (for foreigners residing or working in Singapore) along with your valuable item.
Also, in accordance with the Pawnbrokers Act, you must be of a minimum age of 18 years.
Determining the Cash Value of Your Valuables
Our experienced appraiser will make you an offer after he has assessed the value of your item using advanced appraisal instruments.
If you accept the offer, you will pawn your items with us (known as pledges) for instant cash.
There is no minimum dollar amount allowed on a pawn transaction.
Collaterals that we accept at our pawnshops include:
Interest Rates
Enjoy a promotional interest rate of 1% for the first month. Subsequently, the interest rate is 1.5% per month.
This promotion is only valid when the pledge is redeemed or renewed. Interest is charged on a full-month basis.
You may pay interest and renew your pledges at any ValueMax store located islandwide, or using our e-Services to make online payment or make payment using this mobile app.
You do not have to pay the full amount at once; you can pay in instalments, and each instalment extends the holding period for another six months.
Lost Ticket
In the event that the original pawn ticket is lost, please visit the ValueMax branch where you pawned your item to request a replacement pawn ticket.
A processing fee of $10 (inclusive of 7% GST) is chargeable for each replacement ticket.
Renewal & Redemption of Your Valuables
If you fail to renew your pledge or redeem your item after six months, your item will be forfeited.
The pawner or any pawn ticket holder may redeem the pledge by presenting the pawn ticket and proof of identity.
We will then return the pledged articles after collecting the principal pawn amount and the interest accrued.
If you are unable to redeem your items(s) personally, you can authorise someone do so on your behalf.
The person must bring along your pawn ticket/s, along with his/her identity card (if he/she is a Singapore citizen or permanent resident), or work permit (if he/she is a foreign worker in Singapore).
